Kaleme website reports that Mir Hossein Mousavi, whose father passed away yesterday evening, could visit the body of his passed father very shortly on Wednesday evening, saying goodbye while kissing his forehead and make a short prayer under heavy presence of the security forces. According to Kaleme, Mousavi was calm despite all the circumstances, constantly repeating the word “patience”, advising everyone to be persistent.

Mir Esmail Mousavi died yesterday in Tehran at the age of 103. He was a cousin of Seyed Javad Khamenei, the father of Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Aki Khamenei.

Mir-Hossein Mousavi has been under house arrest since February 14 and cut off from any outside contact, even with his family. He and Mehdi Karroubi have been under house arrest along with their wives, since they called for a solidarity march on February 14 in support of the recent Arab uprisings.
