Mousavi: “Lies mean a decline of the system”
۳۰ تیر ۱۳۸۹
Iranian opposition leader Mir-Hossein Mousavi condemned the Islamic Republic’s reliance on “distorting” the truth and spreading lies.
Kaleme website reports that Mousavi condemned “fabrication” and “distortion” of truth by the government and stressed that “systematic lies” are the signs of the “decline” of a system. The opposition leader emphasized that the Green cyber media should make every effort to “unravel” these lies and counter this “ominous phenomenon. We must provide our people with a truthful analysis of every situation that the government represents through lies; even though our possibilities are not as much as the authoritarian government.”
He also stressed that the problems of the ethnic groups in the border regions must take precedence over other matters, and while condemning the recent bombings in Zahedan, he maintained that terrorism can only be cut off from these regions through “development coupled with justice.”
The Iranian opposition claims that the Ahmadinejad administration fabricates the statistics it releases regarding government finances and economy.
