آیا جامعه ایران سی و یک سال پس از پیروزی انقلاب اسلامی، با آن آرمان‌ها و اهداف همراه بوده است یا صاحبان قدرت با چرخاندن سکان از “مسیر” و “خط” انقلاب منحرف شده و چنین نتیجه‌ای را به بار آورده‌اند؟ تحلیل انقلاب اسلامی و تاریخ این انقلاب را من “بازخوانی انقلاب اسلامی” نامیده‌ام و این بازخوانی می‌بایست از طریق پرتوافکنی بر آن‌چه گذشت، ره‌یافت جدیدی باشد به فهم مناسبات جامعه و دولت در ایران.

مایه تاسف اینجاست در حالیکه بزرگ‌ترین نظریه‌پردازان سیاسی و اجتماعی ،به زعم ما، در جبهه منتقدان و مخالفان حکومت قرار دارند؛ اما تحلیلی از محتوای آنچه در آزمایشگاه‌های سیاسی جمهوری اسلامی در حال تولید است، ارائه نمی‌شود. تحلیلی که بتواند پیش از انفجار بمب تبلیغاتی جمهوری اسلامی، مشت بسته حاکمیت را بگشاید و رهیافتی برای تداوم مبارزه ارائه کند.

یکی از بزرگ‌ترین جنایات رژیم ایران، جلوگیری از آزادی گردش اطلاعات است. این امر، انکار یکی از خواسته‌های اساسی انسان و نیاز به تکامل دید انسان نسبت به جهان است که باعث رشد و شکوفایی شخصیت انسان‌ها می‌شود. به بیان دیگر، انکار آزادی گردش اطلاعات، انکار حق انسان بودن است

با توجه به خروج نابه‌هنگام ایرانیان پس از انتخابات، مشکلات بسیاری دامن آنان را گرفته است؛ نداشتن پشتوانه مالی، عمده‌ترین مشکل آنان است. خروج بی‌برنامه از کشور مانع از جمع‌آوری حداقل سرمایه‌ای شده تا بتوانند با خیالی آسوده‌تر سر بر بالین بگذارند. برخی نیز داشته و نداشته خود را به عنوان وثیقه به دادگاه سپرده و از کشور گریخته‌اند و با توجه به این که قانون سازمان ملل به پناهجو اجازه کار نمی‌دهد، هیچ منبع درآمدی ندارند.

In a contest of violence against violence, the Green Movement would be doomed. Its only chance is a contest of state violence against the power of people acting in concert. Violence could still be effective and destroy the power generated by the Green Movement, but violence can never create the power that is necessary to legitimize good governance. Even if the Green Movement loses its momentum, and its power, it should not drink from the cup of viciousness to satisfy the great thirst for freedom: violence can never be a real substitute for power.
